Greetings from Kentucky! I’ve just arrived in my twentieth state and am so excited to be speaking at today’s Travel Conference. However, I’m still basking in the glow of state nineteen — Tennessee! It was a whirlwind inaugural visit, planned to perfection by my dear friend and hostess with the mostess, . The trip kicked off with four days in Nashville where we went country music crazy at both the CMT Awards and CMA Fest, and I embarrassed Kristin to the maximum by wearing both cowgirl boots and a cowgirl hat. But we went beyond the country classic — Kristin made sure I experienced a bit of both the arts and food scenes before we made our way to Manchester.

Because then it was onto Bonnaroo! I couldn’t have been more pumped to add another festival notch to my belt, and Bonnaroo didn’t disappoint. We had a fantastic crew, saw some fabulous sets, and noshed on some serious treats.

Obviously, there’s so much more to come on all of those adventures. But first, this week on the blog, I’ll be posting about a very big milestone this blog just passed. This week in real life, I’ll be heading from Lexington to Nashville to Los Angeles. Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Favourite photo for me has to be A. The beautiful head sculptures look like there are bodies supporting them under the water. it’s almost a CGI effect. Gorgeous!

Don’t worry, there will be a major post coming up to celebrate it šŸ™‚

  • Love seeing these photos, Meihoukai, because (as you might remember) before leaving on our travels Tony & I lived in Nashville for five years. We actually got married at Cheekwood and our last hurrah was to head to Bonnaroo before packing our bags and hitting the road. We haven’t made it back since we left in 2012, so it was a nice blast to revisit through your photos.

    Hey Meihoukai!

Really jealous of your Nashville trip as that is somewhere I would love to see as well. If you enjoyed the country scene of Nashville perhaps you should look up Boots and Hearts Music Festival here in Canada! Not sure how big of a country fan you are but it would be another festival to add to the list! People come from all over Canada and the US šŸ™‚

The heads just create this effect that make them look like they were created with CGI, and I love the curvature of the previous sculpture.
