Greetings from Martha’s Vineyard! I’m super pumped about this edition of Photo of the Week — why? Because it was my first week shooting with ! And what a place to do so. Martha’s Vineyard was bursting with energy this week as visitors flocked from far and wide to take part in Fourth of July festivities. Our own little cottage was packed with a group of nine, family and friends we were so excited to show our beloved island off to.

It’s been the perfect mix of ambitious adventures and laid-back chill, of enjoying old favorites and exploring fun new discoveries. Less than two weeks on-island just wasn’t enough for one summer and I’m already scheming to see if I can make it back one more time this season. But for now, I’m onwards to Boston and then back to New York to enjoy some downtime and prep for my upcoming dive trip to the Caribbean. I hope all my fellow US readers had a fabulous holiday weekend!

Good fireworks shots get me every time! Nice one! They can be tricky šŸ™‚ Tripod, super steady hands, or random ledge somewhere?

It’s gotta be C, I just adore alpacas! They’re probably safer in Tisbury than they are in Peru, where alpaca steak appeared on so many restaurant menus!

I’m absolutely loving it so far! Definitely still lots to learn and adjust to after having my last one for almost five years, but I’ll get there! (Or I could always, you know, read the manual…)

That fireworks photo is phenomenal, but alpacas are basically the sweetest animals to ever exist, so I have to give it to them!
