It’s good to be back! Early this week I braved thirty five hours of door to door travel with four tight connections in order to meet Anders and his family on Nusa Lembongan for a few days of pampered easing back in to life in Indonesia. We dove with Manta Rays, rented motorbikes and crossed over to Nusa Cenigan, and relaxed in our beautiful local-style bungalows. I fell even more in love with this island than I did the first time.
Now I’m back in Gili Trawangan and while the first few days have been rough in terms of finding a place to stay and readjusting to the daily wifi battle, it is wonderful to be back in the sunshine and under the slow spell of island life.
