Today I’m posting from , an amazing event that combines my love of Martha’s Vineyard, my movie geek-ness, and my passion for ocean conservation. There are so many posts to come — about , my favorite childhood vacation spot, and my first time camping — I only have one thing to say: WE’RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER BLOG.

If that joke goes over your head, please go watch immediately. You’ll thank me later. Now, onto Photo of the Week candidates, all snapped in rare moments of good weather we’ve had on this otherwise rain-soaked trip…

Photo A

Rolling sand dunes backing South Beach.

Photo B

Scenes from the sweet fishing town of Menemsha, where many Jaws scenes were filmed.

Photo C

A sunbeam bursting through a wooden fence in Edgartown.

Let me know which photo is your favorite, and do a little sun dance for me!

Oh my gosh, its so much fun! As a fellow animal lover you’d really be into it — they are placing a huge emphasis on ocean conservation and shark preservation.

  • I love A! Makes me dream!!!

A evokes memories of past MV visits. I can smell the air.

It has definitely been fun lining up my scattered childhood memories to what I’m seeing now as an adult. Mostly though I remember the smell of the ocean… that hasn’t changed.

Glad to see a vote for that one! I always love sunbeam pictures but it turns out they are hard to take, this is the first one I’ve taken that was actually a success!

I LOVE A, not only for the composition, but the story it tells of how small but outstanding each one of us is against the vastness of nature
