This week I had the absolute pleasure of visiting my mom’s new old house in Martha’s Vineyard. She somewhat spontaneously bought one of the Oak Bluffs “gingerbread houses” — as my sister and I called them growing up — after our trip last summer and has poured herself into the renovation process since. I can’t wait to do a full before and after post!
I loved showing Anders around one of my favorite US spots, and I was sad when our ferry pulled away. Now we’re in New York City and I’m trying to juggle playing tour guide, meeting deadlines and last minute preparations for my upcoming trip.
Oh and a quick note about scheduling. I know a lot of you are patiently waiting for Burning Man coverage. I’ve been very overwhelmed and intimidated to start writing about such an other-worldly experience but… the first post should be up this week!
My mom’s new old house!
Someday I’d love one of these Vespas to spin around the island on!
